• Manage, coach, counsel and develop assigned staff.
• Maintain a comprehensive Quality Control framework covering Servicing Operations which complies with all regulatory and investor requirements.
• Maintain a comprehensive Fraud Prevention framework which complies with all regulatory and investor requirements, including BSA/AML.
• Ensure adequate sustainability testing of new/updated regulatory requirements and issue remediations.
• Develop, monitor and maintain 100% compliance monitoring reports around key regulatory requirements.
• Act as a resource and subject matter expert for department questions regarding servicing and compliance issues.
• Maintain expertise in Quality Control, Fraud and Compliance rules and regulations through participation in industry educational programs, publications, and monthly GSE quality updates.
• Provide comprehensive responses to RFIs related to exams, audits and due diligence requests and act as representative of the team in meetings related to same.
• All other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in mortgage industry with at least 3 years in management role.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with a demonstrated record of recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of government regulations associated with mortgage servicing, including applicable consumer protection laws.
• Recent direct leadership experience with risk, compliance, quality assurance or quality control in a mortgage environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to partner with all levels of management.
• Rapidly adapt to changing information, conditions and/or unexpected obstacles.
• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks while management multiple assignments
