Position Description:


The Project Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for ensuring the organization remains compliant with both governmental and project level payroll/demographic reporting requirements. In addition, the compliance specialist is responsible for ensuring that Bond Civil & Utility and all subcontractors remain compliant with both internal, and project level insurance requirements.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage certified payroll process for required projects

  • Collect and review subcontractor certified payroll records

  • Monitor union and prevailing wage rates on a per project basis

  • Manage prevailing wage setups and monitor weekly compliance with payroll

  • Manage vendor and subcontractor compliance with insurance tracking, EEO and DBE reporting

  • Ensure projects are set up in accordance with the contract requirements

  • Assist project teams with ad hoc requests relative to compliance

  • Perform various project related analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Assist other departments with ad hoc requests

  • Support job audits

  • Work on special projects as directed by management


Qualifications:



  • Exceptional time-management skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverables

  • Be able to proactively influence and establish positive working relationships with clients, unions, subcontractors, and BOND employees

  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Must display initiative and independent thinking

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required

  • Experience with COINS or Heavy Job software a plus

  • Construction industry and/or payroll experience preferred
