Sodexo is hiring a Facilities Engineering Compliance Manager for University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, OH. This key role will oversee healthcare facilities engineering compliance across over 300 ambulatory locations in Northeast Ohio, while also supporting medical centers in a supporting role. If you have expertise in Life Safety, Physical Environment, building systems, utilities, fire protection, emergency power, medical gas, and safety, this is your opportunity to join a leading healthcare system and contribute to our Regulatory Compliance Program.
The Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and auditing compliance strategies and initiatives related to healthcare facilities and associated equipment. These efforts will ensure the protection of employees, visitors, and patients from identified hazards within the physical environment, fire and life safety, as well as environmental health and safety risks. This role includes shared oversight of facility compliance with regulatory agencies, including Det Norske Veritas (DNV), The Joint Commission (TJC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) guidelines and standards.
