Home health has become an important piece of the full spectrum of care provided by Franciscan Health. The Director of Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory Affair provides the leadership and oversight of performance improvement plans and activities for the various home health and hospice agencies. This role oversees planning, development, implementation of the agency performance plan and is responsible for maintaining regulatory knowledge and regulatory requirement monitoring, including preparing compliance information for the governing boards. You have to be good at planning, identifying key performance improvements, leading a team, while acting as a designated compliance officer for each home health and hospice location… key management skills that all contribute to the highest quality home healthcare services.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This position can sit out of any one of our various Northern, Western, or Central Indiana locations.
Plan, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and oversee agency performance plan.
Assess and monitor quality through ongoing review and evaluation of patient outcomes.
Provide consultation to departments for performance improvement activities.
Assess and coordinate education and training for performance improvement activities.
Provide orientation and education materials as needed for agency employees.
Maintain database related to quality improvement.
Oversee quarterly record review process.
Acquire and maintain regulatory and accreditation materials for the agency.
Monitor and assist in annual evaluation of the agency's regulatory compliance functions.
Work with other programs to assist with their regulatory needs and audits.
Participate in the development and redesign of materials and forms for clinical areas.
Maintain database and log information, as needed for accreditation and regulatory purposes.
Plan, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and oversee education plan, including Allscripts and OASIS C training.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Therapy or Healthcare Administration - Required
Master's Degree - Preferred
5 years Home Healthcare/Quality/Compliance/Performance Improvement - Required
Experience in hospice program quality improvement and regulatory compliance - Preferred
Physical Therapist (PT) - State Licensing Board - Required - OR -
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board -Required- OR-
Occupational Therapist (OT) - State Licensing Board -Required
Valid Driver's License - Required
