About the Role
As a Compliance Officer, you will support voluntary compliance with hunting legislation across the southern part of NSW. You will plan and undertake compliance operations, conduct investigations, gather evidence and provide clear advice to hunters, stakeholders and members of the public. The role also involves working with NSW Police, public land managers and other agencies to support safe, lawful and responsible hunting practices. You will work with a reasonable level of independence, manage competing priorities and use a range of systems to record operational activity, investigation outcomes and reporting information.
