Position Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring that materials (supplied or manufactured) and processes conform to their stated requirements through electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections. Performs practical assignments of a technical substance and records results with a high degree of accuracy.  This position is also responsible for the calibration program for the site.



 
























Essential Functions



  • Inspection - Conduct receiving, in-process, and or final inspection to determine if visual, labeling, dimensional, and other specifications of the material are met. 




  • Documentation Review and Record Keeping - Review of production documentation to verify that the information contained is accurate and appropriate. When documentation is incorrect, or product is non-conforming, the material and paperwork will be properly segregated in the NCR area. Properly record inspection results and non-conforming situations whether electronically in ERP system and/or physically in the plant as required.




  • Calibration – Assume full responsibility for the calibration of all gauges and equipment utilized in the operational processes. 




  • Support - Provide support in executing requirements of established systems as well as perform general warehouse duties as needed. 




  • Performs other duties as assigned.
