1st Shift Welder

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking a 1st Shift Welder in Prior Lake, MN. First shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm with overtime as necessary; sometimes required.  The pay range for this opportunity is $20-$23/hr.


Daily duties:



  • Perform MIG welding based on product needs, welding round and rectangular elements.

  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to
    perform the necessary task.

  • Knowledge of QC and product specifications.

  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.

  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPEs provided.

  • Other duties as assigned.


How to qualify?



  • High School Diploma.

  • Certification in welding from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Ability to use welding equipment and related tools effectively and safely.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Welding certification a plus.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with a team lift.
